In the tidal wave of pictures, the serious photographer is an endangered species. A good photojournalist creates a mystery or an optical illusion based on the real world. Do we need this kind of photographer? I'm afraid not. A few will survive as the masters of photography, and the others will become the worker bees - supplying the basic material to be platered on magazine pagesor to play around with on the screen.
