The best fashion show is definitely on the street. Always has been, and always will be.
You see, if you don’t take money, they can’t tell you what to do, kid. That’s the key to the whole thing. Don’t touch money.
I’m not drawn to something awful. I wouldn’t even see that. I’m looking for something that has beauty.
I don’t pay attention to celebrities. I don’t photograph them. They don’t dress so… interestingly. They have stylists. I prefer real women who have their own taste.
Listen, chile, who has time to worry about that when there’s so much to photograph?
You’ve got to stay on the street and let the street tell you what is. There are no shortcuts, believe me.
