I think that in one hundred years people will see that photography was the pervasive expressive art form fo this era.
Though the computer can correct anything, a bad image is a bad image.
If it can be done digitally, do it.
For me, serendipity, coincidence and chance are more interesting than any preconceived construct of our human encounters.
