I have tried to reflect through photography the paradoxical world in which we live, where the isolated irony becomes almost surrealistic and the mild absurdities a common feature of life.
Photography is a universal language, which is one of the medium's greatest strengths, and a picture, or a series of photographs that cannot communicate a meaning on at least one level is, for me, simply an empty exercise.
Life is but a fraction of a second in the history of time, while the photograph is an eternity of time frozen from life.
Only photography can capture and distil the act of living through an individual's eye in a unique manner, in a way no other medium can so credibly emulate.
