The work of a press photographer who wants to be more than a journeyman is a continual struggle for his picture. Just as the hunter is obsessed by his passion for hunting, so the photographer is obsessed by the one photo he has his heart set on. It is a continual battle.
The work of a photojournalist who wants to be more than a mere craftsman, is a constant battle, a battle for the picture, and as in hunting, he gets his game only if he has an obsession for the chase.
