I used to talk more about my work, back when my work wasn't as good.
Selenium is weird stuff. It makes the photograph permanent, but it kills the photographer.
Sometimes it's about Art. Sometimes it's about Prayer. And when I'm lucky, It's about both.
I know I've grown as an artist when even though I think the damn car is just an O.K. shot, since everyone likes it, I've included it in the show.
What I really enjoy about night shooting is that I'm not just recording fractions of a second of time, but minutes, and sometimes hours of time on film.
I've been doing a series of spirals. You know how it is with us artists. We take one idea, and then beat it half to death.
I forgot to close the shutter and then I advanced the film.
