Logicians tell us that two Negatives make an Affirmative. Will somebody say how many Negatives make a Photographer ?
Pay no heed to the average photographer's remarks upon "flat" and "weak" negatives. Probably he is flat, weak, stale, and unprofitable; your negative may be first-rate, and probably is if he does not approve of it.
I wish to state emphatically that I do not believe in any sort of handwork or manipulation on a photographic negative or print.
